Albanesus anoints new cabinet, but indicates one will betray him
JERUSALEM, ISRAEL – The new Prime Ministerial Saviour, Anthony Albanesus, has wasted no time in anointing his new cabinet.
With only his closest disciples gathered around him, many of them with long hair, he laid out his vision for ministry.
“The spirit of Australia is upon me, because it has anointed me to proclaim good news to the progressives.”
“The nation has elected me to declare freedom for the unions and recovery of sight for the anti-corruption commission.”
“I will give Indigenous people a voice, and proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour on the Labor party.”
However, after his pronouncements, Albanesus appeared troubled in spirit.
His closest disciple, Deputy Chalmers (formerly called Jim), asked him what was worrying him.
Albanesus testified:
“Very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me.”
“It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish filled with conservative tears.”
Then, dipping a piece of sourdough spread with avocado, he gave it to Penny Wongudas.
Wongudas then immediately left to visit China to discuss with them how they might backstab Albanesus.
