Jesus anoints Kanye West with new name, keys to the kingdom
LOS ANGELES, CA – Rap megastart Kayne West has given an exclusive interview where he claimed that Jesus was the one that anointed him with his new name – ‘Ye’.
The revelation comes after Kanye West filed court documents last week to formally change his full name, Kanye Omari West, to the new identity .
Damascus Dropbear caught up with ‘the artist formerly known as Kayne’.
“Well, I was chillin’ in some deep prayer the other night, and the LORD appeared to me,” Kanye told DD.
“He asked me, ‘Kanye, who do you say I am?”
“Fortunately I was prepared for this, having recently released my hit song – ‘God is‘”
“So I sang to him, ‘You the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and all are welcome through your door’.”
“Then the Son ‘o Man replied – ‘Blessed are you Kanye, and I tell you that you are now ‘Ye’, and on this rap I will build my church.'”
“I confess I was a little overwhelmed, and I told him that people would laugh at me if I took such a name.”
“‘Oh Ye of little faith!’ Jesus then told me sternly.”
“Seek, and Ye shall find. Judge not, that Ye be not judged.”
“Blessed are Ye, when men shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.”
“I am giving Ye the keys to my musical kingdom. Whatsoever Ye shall rhyme on earth shall be rhymed in heaven: and whatsoever albums Ye shall release on earth shall be released in heaven.”
It is further reported that Ye is now avidly reading the Bible, amazed at how much of it seems to be talking to him personally.
